Church with numerous wall paintings
Saint-Paul church was founded in 1025 at the request of Hildegarde, the Lady of Bouteville. The church, now a parish church, was enlarged by her daughter Petronille and rebuilt after the Wars of Religion. Only a small part of the large original medieval edifice remains. Of particular note from this period are the entrance door and the south wall, with its round columns and ornate capitals. The chapel features numerous 14th-century wall paintings depicting biblical scenes.
