TALLEYRAND-PERIGORD CASTLE
The castle was owned by the Talleyrand family in the 16th century and is steeped in history. It houses furniture from the 17th.
Perched on a rocky outcrop, this castle has played host to many historical figures. A seigneury since the 11th century, the site became a château in the 16th century. Once owned by the Talleyrand family, from whom it took its name, it was acquired in 2011 by comedian Yves Lecoq. He restored the dilapidated hospice to its former glory, and enhanced the interior with 17th-century antique furniture. Entrance is via the drawbridge.
