THE CASTLE
Visit the château in Champagne-Mouton, one of the towers on the road through the village.
You won't want to miss this imposing edifice, one of whose towers encroaches on the road running through the village. The château, now privately owned, was built in the 15th century and largely destroyed during the Hundred Years' War. What remains today are two large main buildings and a large, but less-than-stellar building. The château is open from time to time for cultural and artistic events and temporary exhibitions. The first floor can be visited by appointment.
