L'YEUSE
Establishment serving a menu with local products reflecting the talents of the chef.
Depending on your mood, the time you have or the event you are celebrating, you can choose L'Y-bar to spend a convivial moment around a shared board, Le P'tit Yeuse (the bistro of the house) or La Table de l'Yeuse which can be considered as one of the best in the department. The menus change once a month. The P'tit Yeuse's discovery menu offers a fine insight into the chef's talents, which give pride of place to local produce while at the same time sublimating it: a variation of cabbage with Pineau des Charentes as a starter, followed by a melting and crispy guinea fowl, soft polenta and "Butternut" squash purée. The cognathèque is quite fabulous for the collection of cognacs it contains, but also for its very cosy atmosphere around the fireplace, in a very warm wood panelled décor. And whether you come here to the bistro for the dish of the day or to the gastronomic restaurant for the most expensive menu, the service will always be impeccable.
It is also worth noting that the hotel offers a hotel in which the 19th century mouldings have been left to the free inspiration of graffiti artists who have brought a touch of modernity to the establishment.
