The caves, discovered in 1892, include some thirty chambers and numerous corridors, some of which feature interesting limestone concretions, including pretty draperies. There's also an exhibition of objects discovered on site, proving that prehistoric man knew and used the area. A very pleasant guided tour! The temperature is constant and rather cool (12°C), so remember to pack a little wool. A mini-golf course and signposted footpaths round off this fun family outing!
