LA SCALA
Why eat Italian in the land of Cognac? First of all for the setting that transports us to a village in the heart of Italy with a fountain in front of which is planted an authentic Vespa. In summer the terrace is quickly invaded.... Then, for the menu which declines all the gastronomy of the "boot" but not only that... It is a mix between Italy and France: homemade duck foie gras terrine with cognac, compote of onions and its warm briochette with coarse sugar, roasted camembert and its Italian sausage and sausage and its potato with ember and chives cream or homemade ravioli and its salad mesclun. Another originality: the mini-pizzas rolled on a salad, accompanied by a beautiful garnish. Another specialty: Del Piero "baguette style" topped with crème fraîche, mozzarella, gorgonzola and served with a selection of Italian deli meats: parma ham, speck, porchetta with rocket. It's very copious and delicious.
