For those who are not afraid of the miles, the Randonneurs du Cognaçais will provide a wealth of information and guide maps on hiking trails. This association has signposted and mapped out numerous trails in and around Cognac for all pedestrians: from the Tour des îles de la Charente (2 km) to the sentier des chauffeurs (18 km). Cognac is also crossed by the GR4 long-distance hiking trail. The hikers also organize numerous outings, on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, ranging from 8 to 25 km, as well as stays.
