SYNDICAT DES VINS IGP CHARENTAIS

Behind the Pineau des Charentes and the AOC Cognac, one would quickly forget that the vine is used above all to make wine! The promotion of the whole sector and the different Charente grape varieties, which are available in white, rosé or red wines, is ensured by the Syndicat des Vins IGP Charentais located in Cognac. The Charentes region offers beautiful vintages that the Syndicate will be pleased to help you discover. Their unique Maison des Vins, which will open its doors at the end of 2023, will be the magic place. The Charentais wines are registered as Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) since 2009 and the mention Vin de Pays is, therefore, more used. The Syndicate is also committed since 2018 in a collective environmental approach.
