COLLAR MONASTERY
In the rue d'Angoulême, coming from the place François Ier on the left, you'll find the Récollets convent, which today houses the Maison des associations, with meeting and exhibition rooms. Founded in the 17th century, this building features a remarkable rib-vaulted hall, a beautiful wrought-iron staircase and a covered well in the inner courtyard, which is listed as a historic monument. Niches and medallions testify to the building's history, first as a convent, then as a courthouse, and finally as a cultural and social venue owned by the town.
