Parc François, a listed site and a pleasant place to visit for the whole family, to discover in Cognac.
Parc François1er has been listed as a natural monument since 1943. With a surface area of 48 hectares, it has been the subject of a development plan since the storm of 1999, which destroyed a large part of it.
The park is open to the public and, just a stone's throw from the town center, offers a bucolic, woodland-like setting leading down to the banks of the Charente.
Numerous species of animal and plant life have been preserved, and can be observed as you stroll along the peaceful pathways.
