At the crossroads of the routes to Compostela, Tours (GR 655) and Vézelay (GR 654), the Musée de Basse Navarre takes you on a journey back in time. It exhibits themes relating to the history of Basse Navarre and Saint-Palais. The prehistoric period, the Roman presence, the new towns of Basse Navarre, the chancellery of Navarre, the Saint-Palais mint, Basque pelota, Saint-Palais in the 19th century, the roads to Santiago de Compostela, crafts, lapidary art and agriculture in Basse Navarre. Exhibitions and conferences too.
