ALAIN JULLIEN – LOGIS DE LA MOTHE
For the pleasure of the eyes and the palais ! The Logis de la Mothe is an old feudal castle, damaged during the Hundred Years' War, and converted in the 17th and 18th centuries into a dwelling. Fortified by a moat, it has retained its appearance of the time. The cognac of the Logis de la Mothe is nowadays produced from father to son by the Jullien family, from the grape harvest to the storage of the brandies and the distillation. The vineyard of the Logis de La Mothe, covering an area of 20 ha, is located in the Grande Champagne cru, planted on a limestone hillside overlooking the Logis, subject to maritime influences on one side and continental influences on the other. On tasting, the Reserve of the cellar, of exceptional quality by the nobility of its bouquet with a subtle taste of rancio, an Vieille Réserve, with a fragrant, persistent and balanced mouthfeel, and a VSOP of perfect balance. Tradition, in the Jullien family, is a story of honneur !
