DOMAINE DU CHATELARD

The Domaine du Châtelard is a place of great beauty. The th century building is surrounded by greenery, overlooking a tranquil lake where you can admire the elegant white swans. The dining room is chic and cosy, a little English charm reigns in these rooms. The large windows overlook the sumptuous landscape while the visitors will enjoy the large shaded terrace which multiplied the pleasure of the meal. The dishes are sober and slightly flegmatiques. We expect a charming and classic cuisine. That is not the case. Dishes are authentic flavours of flavours; to the image of the landscape, they propose, under false sound, marvels of perfumes and colours, new and addictive associations. The products are from the region and even from the aromatic garden of the area. Regional specialities are worked with a child's love, a work of an invigorating freshness that makes us discover some of the previously unknown culinary areas. All visitors will tell you, try Châtelard, it is to adopt it. We are asking for it. Of course, here too cognac finds its place. To savour in a classical tasting or to rediscover through refined cocktails, cognac is appreciated for its taste qualities as much as for its colour. Everything is highlighted, because the strength of the Domaine domain is certainly its art of instilling beauty in everything it touches, to the delight of epicurean.
