THE GALLIC VILLAGE OF CORIOBONA
This village has been rebuilt on the slopes of the Issoire valley
This Gaulish village, or small oppidum, has been reconstructed according to archaeological studies on the slopes of the Issoire valley, with the aristocratic house, craft workshops and sanctuary inside the enclosure, allowing visitors to experience the daily life of the Gauls.
The Gaulois d'Esse team is committed to demonstrating the techniques employed (fabrics, pottery, weapons). The village is open in summer, and a guide will show you around. During the 10 days of Grannos in August, the team brings the village to life, from the tavern to the blacksmith's and potter's workshops.
