LA FERME DU MEE
La Ferme du Mée is a foie gras producer located in Essé. For 18 years, Frédéric and Anne-Marie Ameline have been committed to producing quality duck meat in the traditional way. Their mulard ducks are force-fed on whole corn for at least 13 days in a collective pen. All the farm's products are processed on site, without colorants or preservatives, according to traditional recipes that guarantee authentic, natural flavor. Ferme du Mée offers a wide range of products, including whole, cooked and semi-cooked duck foie gras, duck leg confit, duck gizzard confit, pure duck rillettes, duck pâté, duck fat, as well as fresh products such as fresh foie gras, foie gras éveiné, smoked duck breast, dried duck breast, aiguillettes, thighs, rillettes by the slice and stuffed neck. Prices vary according to product and quantity. Ferme du Mée is open all year round, and also offers open house events.
