LES GORGES DU CHAMBON ^{* * * *}

Arrived in April 2013, Pascal and Lidewij run this Castels charming campsite with enthusiasm, with a dynamic team. Nature lovers will be delighted to stay in this "Suisse charentaise", on the borders of the regions of Poitou-Charentes, Aquitaine and Limousin, an ideal starting point to go on hiking or biking, or learn about canoeing. The new owners implemented the renovation of the sanitary facilities and have many projects for the site, especially a paddling for the summer 2015. This protected estate of ​​28 hectares is in the loop of the river Tardoire. Fishermen catch white and carnivorous fishes there. To fish for carp, you can have free access to a private pond at six kilometers from the campsite. The outdoor activities are numerous on-site or nearby: a swimming pool, a 200 m golf, mini golf, horse riding, tennis, introductory lessons in hot air balloon or gyroplane, rock climbing, tree climbing, karting at 8 km away, sailing at 20 km away, etc. Children from 4 to 10 years-old have their mini club from mid-July to mid-August. The campsite also has a bar-restaurant, run by a new team, Greg and Marion.
