The Auberge Berriex, just a few minutes from the Grotte de La Verna, has a pleasant garden terrace with round tables, and a rustic dining room with a wooden bar that smacks of the Basque Country. Here, you'll enjoy simple, generous family cooking, famous for its porcini and cheese omelettes, axoa, lamb (locally produced), steaks and duck confit, entrecôtes, faux-filets and equally tasty desserts. Super auberge, personnel très sympathique, cuisine simple mais très très bien réalisée, endroit chaleureux !
