The elegant church Saint-Denis de Lichères, listed in Historical Monuments, is in retreat from the village. From the th century to its oldest parts, it is well preserved and is considered by many to be "miniature basilica". The facade is very inspired by neighbouring Poitou (the sculpted eardrum is rare in Angoumois). A little novel gem not to be missed.
