A pass with an archaeological heritage of thirty-one dolmens, five tumuli, four cromlechs and two menhirs at Sare.
500 metres after the Caves of Sare. At the Lizuniaga pass, look out for the R26 marker, a stone table that could be an overturned menhir. Further north, on the slopes of the Rhune, there are numerous tumuli, dolmens and cromlechs: in fact, the territory of Sare has an archaeological heritage of thirty-one dolmens, five tumuli, four cromlechs and two menhirs. They would be the expression of rites and cults of the semi-nomadic and transhumant shepherds who criss-crossed the mountains.
