A first church was built from the th century to the th century at the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Martial de Limoges. Thus, as a priory, this original church would have given its name to the village of Mouthiers-sur-Boëme. It will be rebuilt after this donation. There are no guided tours, but the church in open access includes explanatory panels in English and French.
