GALLO-ROMAN VILLA OF THE CHATELIERS
Excavations of this ancient farm (occupied from the 1st century BC to the 5th century AD) have brought to light numerous objects and above all exceptional painted decorations over the past forty years. In the village, a discovery area has been set up below the church where visitors can immerse themselves in the history of the excavations but also in the atmosphere of a reception hall in Roman Gaul thanks to the reconstruction of the painted decoration. The archaeological site is just a few steps away, with free access.
The shop offers you some souvenirs: postcards, books etc. The antique garden on the edge of the site is open all year round. There is also an educational area for schools, fresco workshops and animations.
