MEDIEVAL CASTLE OF PEYRAS

This castle from the th to the th century was the seat of the Seigneurie seigneury. The Black Prince, son of the King of England, stopped there during the Hundred years war. Not so long ago, we were giving shows here: those of 1996 and 1998 received the first prize for the best entertainment in Poitou-Charentes. The 1997 edition was awarded by the Ministry of Tourism and in 2001 by the General Council of the Charente. If these animations have ceased, owing to lack of financial support and despite their success, the owners continue to share the historic wealth of this castle every Sunday.
