The church Saint Jacques de Conzac dates from the th century. It is a relay for pilgrims on the roads of Santiago de Compostela, where it draws its name. Classified as a historic monument in 1962, it was restored by the Fine Arts. The wooden frame above the nave dates back to the th century. It was rebuilt after the Hundred Years War. Inside, a column beam supports slightly broken arches. Below, an open drum of four bays - very rare in Charente - illuminates the cross of the transept. Outside, elegant arcades stand under a four-sided roof. On the ground floor, a tiers decorated the wall of the apse, while above, large windows allow light to be entered to highlight the sculpture of the capitals. At the bedside, the foothills took the form of columns.
The capitals located at the top of the carré and the choir are richly decorated and certainly with oriental inspiration. There are also a wide range of soignés and bucolic approaches that make the frame pleasant and relaxing.
