ISLE NATURE AND EPHEMERAL GARDENS
A site that brings together the heritage of Saint-Fraigne, including the church, the marsh, the school museum and the Ephemeral Gardens
L'Isle Nature brings together the heritage of Saint-Fraigne: the Ephemeral Gardens, the church, the marsh and the school museum. The Ephemeral Gardens are flooded every winter. Reborn each spring; landscape gardeners, sculptors, schoolchildren... from various plants create a plot of land that they transform into unique works of art. The operation is renewed each year on a different theme, leaving room for creativity and innovation. The church houses frescoes painted by Louis Mazetier after the Second World War which will not leave you impassive... The school museum plunges us into the skin of our ancestors during their studies with their period materials and outfits. Materials and documents collected in all the communes of the department.
