Crossing the old bridge, you come to the small Place de la Fontorse and its pretty fountain. Then you're invited to stroll between the 18th-century town houses, the Quai Pautrot on the banks of the Vienne and the hospital. Then you come to the Romanesque church of Saint-Barthélemy, a listed monument since 1907, with its sculpted portal.
