AUBERGE DU SAUMON
Inn serving Béarnaise cuisine and traditional family recipes, meals served on the terrace in summer.
The Auberge du Saumon is first a 200 year old country house that welcomes you in a green and box setting, a bucolic charm that the Gave, located 100 metres away, reinforces with grace. Here, we are well and Mrs Sarthou does everything to be sure! Dynamic and welcoming, always a smile to the lips, it shares béarnaise cuisine, traditional recipes and even family. As soon as you sit at the table, you feel like being a little at home or a friend! Garbure, homemade pork bowl, foie gras, front entries of small specialities such as roasted farm chicken, calf nuts high under mother and some surprises such as the wild pressed and its vegetables of the day or the salmis of palombe in season. The frame is rustic but beautiful, the menu good and prepared with high quality regional products. Two guest rooms are also offered on the site, ideal for families with children, they give you access to the beautiful garden where games await them. Summer meals are served on the terrace, shaded under the century-old plane trees and winter, the majestic fireplace takes over.
