MENARD
A line of Ménard ended up without interruption on the same land for nearly two centuries. A record of ownership, official and perfectly preserved, shows that in 1815 Jean Ménard possessed an important vineyard and distillait. At the moment, the Ménard family vineyards span about 80 ha. In these properties, all located in Grande Champagne, first cru of the Cognac region, are harvested wines that produce cognac Grande Fine Champagne (AOC), Ménardet pineau des Charentes (AOC), Ménard. All of these wines are distilled on properties in copper stills and in the traditional charentaise method.
