All that remains of this vast settlement are the Clos des Hommes, the ruins of the Dames priory, the surrounding wall and the medieval aqueduct

This double priory, with its Romanesque architecture, was founded in the 12th century by Robert d'Arbrissel, of the Fontevraud order, to whom the local lord ceded the church and land. Scattered throughout the village, all that remains of this vast settlement, which underwent major periods of development, are the Clos des Hommes, the ruins of the prieuré des Dames, a surrounding wall and a partly underground medieval aqueduct. Left derelict since the 19th century, it has been the object of a rehabilitation campaign by the commune and the Marpen Club.
