CHEZ COURBET
Restaurant dating back to 1920, located in Sévignacq, serving generous, gourmet local Béarn cuisine.
For over a century, the Courbet house has sung the praises of local, gourmet and generous Béarn cuisine. The great-grandfather founded the first restaurant in 1920, opening his table on market days. 4 generations later, the two brothers Jérémie and Clément have kept the myth alive, recreating the traditional cuisine of their childhood every day. The Courbet family's signature dish has remained unchanged for over 20 years: a magret cocotte with potatoes and a sauce whose secret continues to be jealously guarded. We come here to rediscover the flavors, but also the generosity, of a traditional cuisine where it's not good to be on a diet!
