The Madé family has been cultivating the land and vines at Asnières-la-Giraud, in the Fins Bois area, for many generations. Today, Thierry and Olivier have taken over from their father and grandfather, perpetuating the family tradition. Of the 27 ha of vines, 3 ha are used to produce Pineau des Charentes and 24 ha for Cognac. Each of these cognacs is a subtle blend of several eaux-de-vie (at least 6 or 7 years old). They are all made with the same care, aged in new barrels, then in red barrels. The only difference between a V.S. and an X.O comes from the age of the eaux-de-vie that compose them, which can vary from 5 to 20 years. However, this V.S.O.P. Cognac is a favourite, to be enjoyed as an aperitif on large ice cubes or as a digestive. It will make you discover the famous "rancio" of the Charente. Possibility of personalized labels and gift boxes. Also to be noted, a white pineau, fresh, powerful and with delicious aromas of confectionery, and a rosé pineau, with complex aromas and a balanced palate. Recently, production has diversified with the production of the sparkling white and rosé grape which can be drunk on its own with a dessert, but which is also an excellent idea for sparkling cognac or pineau in unusual home cocktails.
