It's not just in the Southwest where they raise ducks! This duck farm created 28 years ago was transformed into a cannery in 2015, but the ducks are still raised and force-fed in the traditional way. To discover in the shop: cassoulet charentais, duck compote, duck foie gras mousse with Pineau des Charentes, duck confit or duck with orange and peasant soup. Among the novelties: marinated duck wings (Texas style, with citrus fruits or Provencal herbs) and duck pâté with foie gras, hazelnuts and pistachios.
