SITE DU FÂ

The Musée et Site Gallo-Romains du Fâ is a major archaeological site in Barzan, Charente-Maritime. Regular excavations have been carried out here since 1994. The museum presents remains from Aquitanian Gaul and the second Aquitaine, from the Civitas Santonum. Reduced rates are available for groups of 15 or more. Guided tours last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Photography and filming are permitted in the museum, with the exception of commercial use and flash photography. Free parking is available, as well as a rest area and toilets accessible to people with reduced mobility.
