BRASSERIE DE BERCLOUX
The two Charente departments are renowned for their wines and spirits, such as Cognac and pineau. But in Charente-Maritime we also consume beers that are produced on the two islands of Ré and Oléron, but also in this small distillery. In Bercloux, the Laclie family is in charge. In a concern to respect the terroir, the house perpetuates traditions by using a process unique in the world. Here, the still is not used to produce brandies, but pure malt beers. And there is a choice! For example, you can taste the White beer brewed with pale barley and wheat malts, the Stout beer, a concentrate of aromas and flavours or the Bercloise Cognac which surprises with its coppery golden colour.
