Lovers of furniture, original objects, character decoration or beautiful rare pieces that have passed through the generations know well these unmissable events: Soumoulou is the city of antiques and flea markets! On the town hall square, enchantment is everywhere, more than 200 exhibitors flock to the town every year to unveil to the general public the treasures they have in stock... and there are many of them! This event is of such quality that it has been awarded the France Europe Quality Authenticity label: here forgery and new copies are banned. An expert is also present to certify the pieces and give you a guarantee of authenticity. The professionals of the fairs are of a high level, some even come from abroad, and it is not by chance that 5,000 people enjoy every year strolling in this somewhat magical universe of sculptures, period works, jewellery, furniture and other rarities. The flea market also has its own dedicated area: a biannual fair for the delight of flea market enthusiasts!

Journée décevante à la brocante
Je feuilletais simplement les livres de cet odieux brocanteur (voir les photos) quand celui-ci m'a dit de dégager, au prétexte que je regardais sans acheter et que, je cite, je "foutais le bazar" alors que j'ai toujours été quelqu'un d'ordonné et que je remettais les choses en place quand on me le demandait. Or, ces livres-là, je ne les avais pas vus la dernière fois. Sûrement étaient-il arrivés le mois dernier car je ne suis pas allé à la brocante en juillet. Alors je ferai savoir à ce type que j'ai toujours besoin de feuilleter un livre avant de l'acheter, afin de voir s'il peut me plaire ou pas, et que, jusqu'à preuve du contraire, venir plein de fois sans acheter n'est PAS INTERDIT ! Je n'ai jamais eu ce problème avec les autres brocanteurs de Soumoulou. Mais quant à ce brocanteur-là : à fuir ! Pour terminer, il ne m'a pas laissé le temps de m'expliquer sur le fait qu'il m'arrivait d'acheter des choses lors du vide-grenier de Soumoulou (généralement des vinyles (petite précision : il en vend)). La journée avait bien commencé mais ça s'est mal terminé à cause de lui...
