DOMAINE DU GERZEAU

Cottage rented by Internet, I organised a WE of 15 and 16 /11 /14 for a feast with friends, the rooms niquels, the distillery or you could be our dancing without problems; and then fireplaces in the lounge and the cuisine which were lit upon our arrival, a delight!

One week of holiday to 4 couples with 9 children, fine residence, beautiful swimming pool, sunny, and in a relaxing setting, the owners remain discreet and are charming (the two teenagers have magical summers of their fishing)
the rooms are very nice, beautiful duvets and the beautiful bed linen, volumes are more than generous, which happiness to sleep in the countryside, our friends had lost the practice of it.
children (5.-14 years) did not miss an opportunity to feed the sheep and chickens, and have use snowshoeing table tennis by play every evening there! We took advantage of this to visit the region that our friends did not know, and go to the beach (please be taught this famous small cove to us,) in short of relaxing as we like them, we will definitely return!

We had rented this cottage on the Internet at the time of a small cousinade from 10/10/14 to 10/12/14.
On this occasion, we had asked what you prepare us an aperitif followed by a feast. everyone was surprised departure the richness of the quality of the meal that was served to us. (one still recuerda hams cooked with their delicious toppings and wood fire, and what about the aperitif: a real festival)
Accommodation amenities, nothing to say, everyone with good slept, the rooms are spacious, comfortable bedding and rooms has live superb. (it is only one pool in the lounge that is shiny) the layout of the rooms has allowed us to make rooms of teenagers and parents.
We had also come with a DJ that led us late evening and we could not dance to disturb those who had left to sleep.
A super really stay, nothing to say it retains all of them very good memory

Nous avions trouvé ce site sur internet et ne connaissions pas la région. Comme nous étions nombreux, les gîtes capables de nous accueillir étaient rares et nous avons trouvé le domaine du Gerzeau. Leur site internet et magnifique et a fini de nous séduire. Hélas, entre le descriptif, la photo par hélicoptère et la réalité, il y a comme un fossé.
- la piscine...bien, mais que de 10h à 12h et de 14h à 17h. Vous éviterez aussi de déjeuner à côté, de boire à côté, de jouer au ballon à côté ou dans la piscine, bref...trempette et zou, dehors! Non, ne prenez pas de douche : celle à côté de la piscine est juste là pour la déco.
- le cadre : superbe, mais vous n'aurez pas accès au grand parc, juste le petit verger à côté. Les chiens du propriétaire hurleront toute la nuit. De très jolis paons viendront vous saluer le matin, vous veillerez juste à ne pas marcher dans les fientes qu'ils déversent abondamment sur le perron.
- l'intérieur : c'est grand, très grand. Le ménage est vraiment à désirer et bien des pièces ne sont pas finies (prises murales sorties, plâtre à refaire). Ne comptez pas sur la télé, c'est juste de la déco. Pour internet, vous aurez les codes de la box...qui ne porte pas jusque dans la maison. Rassurez-vous : le coin est paumé, si vous êtes en "edge" c'est le bout du monde et vous n'êtes pas en vacances pour aller sur le net, non?

Bref, un vrai ménage entre deux clients, de vrais travaux de finition et des règles d'utilisation de la piscine un peu moins rigoureuses auraient rendu ce gîte attrayant. C'est raté. C'est dommage : paumé dans la campagne charentaise, on ne peut même pas compter sur la plage pour se consoler!

Then yes, we showed our legitimate dissatisfaction they did not!
Their lack of respect and balance were unqualifiable, it must be said that alcohol vapour were largely present in the morning.
Fortunately their stay court and was quickly forgotten by the friendliness of the occupants throughout the season reconciled us rentals holiday, and thank we them here.
