The Maison du Transbordeur is located near one of Rochefort's most symbolic structures: the Transbordeur Bridge. This interpretation center, dedicated to the history of this historic monument, celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. As you enter, you'll learn more about this bridge, inaugurated in 1900, and its inventor, through an exhibition showcasing him. In 2024, a new visitor center will open its doors and the area around the bridge will be redeveloped.
