Seafood cuisine in a restaurant with terraces and ocean views
It is not a simple restaurant but an oyster hut set in an ideal setting: by the ocean. The Forestier family welcomes you to the air-conditioned room or one of the two terraces from which you will have plenty of time to observe the ocean and the oyster huts. It is in this iodized atmosphere, refreshed by a sea breeze, that you will discover a menu that is willingly turned towards the sea. It is impossible to come here without wanting to taste oysters because the oyster farms are so close. You can also enjoy starting your meal with shrimps, whelks and langoustines and even a seafood platter. The rest is just as pleasant: cuttlefish whites in parsley, scallops or mussels cooked in different ways: marinière, cream, curry, chorizo... The desserts are classic but prepared with care by a real pastry chef like chocolate fondant, rice pudding or Cuban gourmet coffee.

Visite en voisins depuis notre carrelet et rien à redire à ces produits sains cuisinés simplement.
Bien sûr la déco et la présentation pourraient être améliorées, mais la vue sur la baie et les carrelets ne se suffit elle pas à elle-même ? Bien sûr la cuisine pourrait gagner en sophistication mais est-ce ce qu'on vient chercher ici ?
En plus c'est copieux et la carte des vins est correcte même si elle fait la part trop belle à l'île de Ré (bof).
