LE BROUAGE
Restaurant in the heart of the citadel offering vegetarian and seasonal dishes in Hiers-Brouage.
With such a name, this restaurant could not be installed anywhere else but in the heart of the citadel. Of course, you can have lunch inside this large building recognizable by its green shutters, enjoying a rustic atmosphere. But the Brouage seduces above all by its two terraces that allow you to take full advantage of the ambient air. Two menus are offered offering a sufficient choice. You will find, among others: warm roasted goat's cheese salad with almonds, cod back with muscadet sauce and classic desserts: tarte Tatin, floating island, chocolate mousse. The restaurant also offers some vegetarian dishes and in season, pancakes to be enjoyed in the afternoon (sugar, squeezed lemon, maple syrup).

Un bon rapport qualité prix, le plat d anguille été succulent.
J ai apprécié la petite meringue servie avec le café et la crêpe

Et quand nos plats sont revenus, nous avons trouvé une petite louche de crème insipide au-dessus des moules. Toujours sans sourire ! Celles ci étaient d ailleurs trop cuites, beaucoup étaient détachées de leur coquille . Ne méritent pas leur classement au petit futé.
