COULEUR LOKAL
This small shop located just a stone's throw from the church and specializing in delicatessen products has something to surprise you. It even has two universes: the Charente terroir and that of Quebec. Whatever the geographical origin of the products, Mylène's only priority is quality! She proves it by tasting some of the products she found. Here you'll find the great classics of Quebec gastronomy: maple syrup, maple cookies, but also newer ones like cranberry or blueberry jam, a maple butter. The "galette charentaise" is next to the inevitable fish soup and fleur de sel, but also to more original products such as the "pâté de ragondin" or the gingerbread with pineau. You can even buy bread made by a baker in the nearby village.
