The Café de l'Océan is a brasserie, but a brasserie facing the main square of the island, shaded and apart from the tourist passage… This is not negligible in summer! The terrace is open to idleness and long relaxation. And if time doesn't allow you to stay outside, install peacefully inside: The garden evokes the inside of a boat and looks like a kind of returned shell, all wood. The speciality of the house? La charentaise.

Déjeuner au Café de l'Océan sur l'Ile d'Aix
L’accueil est très agréable au Restaurant Le Café de l’Océan et les personnels y ont le sens de l’humour tout en étant très serviables. La carte est un peu limitée car il y a assez peu de choix. Les produits sont frais et les plats sont cependant très corrects et goûteux et font passer le prix un peu élevé, dû sans doute le fait de se trouver à proximité de l’entrée de l’Ile d’Aix, sur la place principale. J’ai pris la pièce du boucher et mon amie la salade Asia et nous avons terminé avec le moelleux au chocolat, très bien.

Février sous le soleil en terrasse.
Accueil très convivial et souriant.
Cuisine excellente ! La palme d’or au cabillaud Skrei qui fut un délice autant en goût qu’en présentation.
