Japanese restaurant offering market cuisine and world wines.
How about a change from classic French cuisine this evening? There's only one thing you'll want: sushi! Visit this restaurant on the famous rue Saint-Jean-du-Pérot. Soï, the chef, will be delighted to offer you the opportunity to eat in or take away the famous raw fish specialties for which Japanese cuisine is renowned. Here, there's no need to worry about freshness: the fish comes from the La Pallice market. All that's left to do is take a seat around the table to enjoy the menu, which includes starters such as a duo of nems, chicken tempura and salmon tartar. The dishes are full of exotic flavors: beef sautéed with Thai basil, chicken with green curry and coconut milk, with a variety of accompaniments: stir-fried vegetables, fragrant Thai rice, glutinous rice... In the evening, if you want to treat yourself, order sushi from the tasting menu, which offers an assortment of sushi, sashimi and california accompanied by miso soup and wakame salad. The cellar also features wines from around the world: South Africa, Argentina, as well as France (Côtes-de-Provence, Chinon, Chablis).
