This bar-restaurant is really typical. Don't look for it on the Old Port, but rather on a small square, a little out of the crowd. La Solette is a real neighbourhood bistro that charms the visitor with its slightly old-fashioned setting and an always friendly welcome. When you arrive, you will only have one desire, to settle down on the terrace and enjoy the place. Under a majestic paulownia or indoors in winter in an atypical setting, you never forget the time, you remake the world. If the restaurant has changed chef, the menu always features fresh, seasonal products. If you prefer meats, opt instead for the entrecote de la Solette served with homemade fries. We'll end up with some sweet flavours: brioche lost and then found again. Be careful, the address is well known in the Rochelais and you have to book better to get a place!
