CHRISTOPHER COUTANCEAU
Christopher Coutanceau's seafood cuisine in a 3-star restaurant in La Rochelle.
If the Michelin guide has decided to take away one star from Christopher Coutanceau and Nicolas Brossard, this restaurant is still one of the most important places in La Rochelle. You just have to enter to understand why the title of fisherman cook was granted to Christopher Coutanceau. Here everything is linked to the nearby ocean. For more than 10 years, the chef from La Rochelle has been inspired by the sea, offering innovative dishes of a rare quality. Nicolas Brossard, the chef de salle, oversees a service that is efficient, attentive and discreet.

A real work on flavours and presentation. In short great art by Big Bosses.
We very regularly can enjoy the first menu, always renewed and surprising, but in the tradition of an elaborate gastronomy.
For the same budget there little also choose a more ordinary restaurant on the île de Ré, apparently more affordable, but which makes finally the same price... but that is nothing to see. Believe me!
