If there's one nightclub you need to know in La Rochelle, it's the Piano Pub. With its central island bar and Australian decor, it's a benchmark especially among La Rochelle's youth. Every evening, especially on Thursdays and Saturdays, the bar is packed with students looking for a crazy atmosphere, and they get it! The pop/rock music is in full swing and the small dance areas are packed. In fact, you can often see the tables being used as dancefloors by some of the revelers. When you come to the Piano, you know you're going to bump into old acquaintances, but you also know you're going to make new ones, because here we like to party even with strangers. Pitchers of beer and rum flow freely until the night owls leave. A word of advice, though, if you want to find seats: come early!
