STADE MARCEL-DEFLANDRE
More than just a stadium, Marcel Deflandre is the den of the professional rugby team. Inaugurated 30 years after the creation of Stade Iso, he then bears the name of the "Parc des Sports de Port-Neuf" neighbourhood before wearing the patronymic that all iso know about Liberation in tribute to the President of the Atlantic Stadium, arrested and shot in 1944 by the Gestapo. Works of expansion and renovation were carried out for 10 years until 2014, which saw the opening of the Jackson Gallery, which brings the capacity of the stadium to 15.000 places. Marcel Deflandre never ceases to attract crowds, posting regularly in championship days. It must be said that the atmosphere is remarkable, and the pressure of iso public often plays an important role in the decision of the games.
