AFEV POITOU-CHARENTES

For over 20 years, the Association of the City Student Foundation has been seeking to combat inequalities in popular neighbourhoods. How? By meeting two audiences: students who devote an average of 2 hours per week to young people in difficulties. Last year, some 7 000 of them helped in many projects: accompanying a child taking into account his difficulties (reading, autonomy, understanding), support a group of children from travel. The clubs themselves are invited to inform their comrade with the programme «All Actors in the Neighborhoods» and reflect on their training courses. AFEV's commitment is recognised and validated by many universities, and the organization is supported, inter alia, by the Ministries of National Education, Social Cohesion and Youth.
