LE CARRÉ AMELOT
This cultural centre, located in the very heart of the city in an ancient armoury, has experienced many lives. After being decommissioned by the army, it became a place of storage for tobacco before becoming the Maison des Jeunes and the Square Amelot in 1990. Iso is given an opportunity to discover artistic disciplines with practical workshops, festivals that take place throughout the year (Documentary, Land and Letters) and also enjoy a freely accessible reading area. For this new season, the Square Amelot continues to support production, the reception of artists in residence, to schedule concerts and to offer meetings and conferences. The hotel offers a cosy bar and a restaurant with drinks and a small restaurant.
