LA COURTINE
Restaurant avec terrasse pour déguster des fruits de mer à Le Château-d'Oléron.
This restaurant is certainly one of the addresses to remember during a stay at the Château d'Oléron. When you enter, you will probably only want to sit on the terrace, located at the back, and treat yourself to a real moment of pleasure. Everything inevitably refers to the ocean so close: the port of course, but also the viaduct and the boats. It is good to settle down there as soon as the weather is fine to offer you a gourmet moment in the calm. One comes above all to the Courtine to taste seafood: oysters of course, which come from the other side of the road (freshness guaranteed!), whelks, prawns, langoustines. The chef takes pleasure in preparing the fish and you can feel it: rillettes and tartar for the starters, knives à la plancha or cuttlefish grilled with garlic for the dishes. Even the beef comes from Charente-Maritime! We appreciate the desserts, willingly greedy: homemade profiteroles, crème brûlée with carambar or tart of the day. Clever, the children also have the right to taste oysters, proposed in their menu!
