This natural setting, which has been awarded the Echappées Nature label, provides an opportunity to learn more about the history of salt farming on Oléron. A number of self-guided huts invite you to learn more about the workings of a salt marsh and how salt is harvested. Boat trips offer another view of the marsh landscape. Numerous events take place every year: fête de la nature, heritage days... You can even harvest salt with the salt-maker!
