A home for all those wishing to take a trip to the heart of nature

At the beginning of the 20th century, salt was still stored in two sheds. In 1997, the Conservatoire de l'Espace Littoral bought part of the site, which was subsequently restored. Today, the Maison, located at the heart of the Lilleau des Niges Nature Reserve, welcomes all those who wish to take a trip to the heart of nature. Located at the gateway to the Nature Reserve, it features an exhibition entitled "Ré, île nature". The museographic space allows young and old alike to touch, breathe, observe and listen. It's a fun way to explore the island.

Une très belle promenade
Réserve naturelle au nord de l'île, qui longe les marais salants. Balade de 2km à pied qu'on peut faire gratuitement. Il est fortement conseillé d'amener une paire de jumelles pour l'observation des oiseaux. Possibilité d'en louer à la Maison du Fier.

Une réserve naturelle exceptionnelle au milieu des marais salants. On peut y observer un écosystème préservé, notamment un grand nombre d'oiseaux marins. Des visites sont quotidiennement organisées par la maison du Fier.
